Rev. Nicholas W. Inman is the Founder of National First Ladies Day and currently serves on the board of directors. Rev. Inman is the Executive Director of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum in Mansfield, Missouri and the Senior Pastor of the Elkland Independent Methodist Church in Elkland, Missouri. He is the Founder and President of the Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival in Marshfield, Missouri. The festival's mission is the preservation of American History. National First Ladies Day held its National Kickoff ceremony in conjunction with the festival in 2023.
Rev. Inman is an active volunteer and Philanthropist. He currently serves as a board member of the Rosalynn Smith Carter Childhood Garden in Plains, Georgia, Missouri Humanities Council, Dred Scott Heritage Foundation, Wilson's Creek National Battlefield Foundation, Laura Ingalls Wilder Home Association, Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce (Past President), Ozarks Lyric Opera and the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce (Past President).
He is the current President/Chairman of the Historic Seelye Foundation in Abilene, Kansas, Laura Ingalls Wilder Children's Literature Festival, Ozarks Mountain Symphony, Fordland Memorial Library, Ozarks Concert Association, Route 66 Repertory Theatre, 4 County Thrift Store and Food Pantry, Vivian Stuber Memorial Library, Marshfield High School Alumni Association, Marshfield Independence Day Celebration Committee, Wilder Days Committee, Webco Manor Nursing Home, Marshfield Ministerial Alliance, Wings of Hope Giving Circle and the Marshfield Veterans Day Parade Committee.
He is the Founder of the Marshfield Performing Arts Society (Marshfield Community Theatre), Marshfield Area Community Foundation, Zuzu's House, National First Families Library and Museum and the Marshfield Tree City USA Advisory Committee. Rev. Inman is an avid historian, and he has enjoyed his membership and support of the Sons of the American Revolution (Ozark Mountain Chapter), Webster County Historical Society (Past President), American Alliance of Museums and the Mansfield Area Historical Society. He and his wife (Sarah) own and operate the historic Dickey House in Marshfield, Missouri and they have two children.
